“Let It Shine Lightshow” Review (Northbrook, Illinois)

Our family recently went to the “Let It Shine” drive through Christmas light show in Northbrook, Illinois. Our three year old son was thrilled to sit in the front seat and he absolutely loved the light show. What a fantastic idea and something safe to do with your family during a pandemic.

Pro tip: bring some popped popcorn to enjoy from the warmth of your car.

My only complaints: the radio station that you’re supposed to tune into is fuzzy for most of the drive. I recommend that you bring your own Christmas playlist.

The cost is a little steep for what it is ($40 per car) only to be ushered through by employees waving you on at every turn. I’m happy to pay $40, I just thought we’d be able to drive a little slower and take more time to take pictures and videos. Just be prepared with your phone and camera to move quickly through the exhibit.
