183 years ago on this day (March 4th, 1837) Chicago was incorporated as a city!
In celebration, I’m sharing my favorite Chicago skyline and lake photos I’ve captured since moving here (summer 2019).
This first photograph was taken in November and is a view of the downtown Chicago skyline from just outside the incredible Shedd Aquarium:
Here is a view of The Chicago River from the Skydeck at Willis Tower.
And of course I’ve taken many photos of The Cloud Gate (more well-known as the bean), but I prefer this unique perspective:
Most of all, I love spending time by the water and enjoying the views of Lake Michigan.
