Happy Thanksgiving Day!

I hope everyone (who celebrates) had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day with family and/or friends.

Today is one of my favorite holidays because I love food, especially a traditional Thanksgiving meal. And of course I love spending time with family and friends while reflecting on all I have to be thankful for.

We hosted family this year for Thanksgiving and I wanted to make sure the meal was decent so I ordered the turkey from Whole Foods; it was really delicious. All of the side dishes (stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, and butternut squash soup) I made from scratch and they turned out well. It’s not easy hosting when you have a toddler at home, but we managed. I’ll have to write another blog post about hosting guests and dinner parties with an energetic toddler at home.
